JHL-1969 10W Class A Amp

There are two projects I have always wanted to build, a simple Class A amp and a single ended tube amp. After reading about the 1969 based class A amp, I ordered a board and started my build.

Below is my parts list, if you have done any research you know that there are complete kits on eBay. I do not like pre-parted kits, I enjoy researching and picking out the quality of my components, obviously the cost is a little higher.

First tests after assembly:

Ran into a strange buzz, only with both channels attached to a source. I even tried to transformer isolate then, but the 60 cycle buzz is still there, diagnosing...

JHL-1969 10W Class A Amp Conclusion:

The jury is still out on this one, have been distracted by other projects to put any more time into diagnosing the problem. With one channel connected, the amp is clean and sounds good, no real test yet, but I’ll get back to it soon..
